As a QA Test Engineer Senior Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software through a combination of manual testing and automated testing. You will collaborate closely with developers, product delivery lead, and stakeholders to identify issues, improve processes, and deliver high-quality solutions that meet both functional and regulatory requirements.

Role Responsibilities -

As a QA Test Engineer Senior Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software through a combination of manual testing and automated testing. That includes:

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases and test plans for post-trade risk management applications
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira, ensuring clear communication with developers for resolution.
• Build reusable scripts for API, UI, and backend testing to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Optimize test suites for performance and scalability.

We expect you to have: (Minimum Qualifications)

• 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in software QA testing, out of which at least 5+ years in auto testing
• Proficiency in Java for automation scripting and framework development.
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, RestAssured, TestNG).
• Good experience in Manual testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with SQL, REST APIs, and testing sophisticated backend systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

It would be great if you (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience in financial services, particularly post-trade risk management, clearing, or regulatory reporting systems.
• Knowledge of industry standards like Dodd-Frank, EMIR, or Basel III.
• ISTQB or similar QA certification.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Git, and Jenkins
