Exciting Opportunity: Existing Business Technical Sales Specialist
As an Existing Business Technical Sales Specialist, you will partner with Existing Business (EB) Sales to follow our customers through the entire renewal sales process, as well as support some of our most strategic customers through their entire lifecycle. You will be a key contributor in determining the best strategy for next steps to maintain and grow our customer partnerships.
In this role you will work primarily with the Existing Business team but also cross functionally with other areas of the business. Taking insights from integrations, application usage, and customer priorities you will identify the linkages between the technical and strategic components to uncover the path to additional value for our customers. You will be hands on during customer discovery and implementing the strategy through successful presentations and demonstrations to our customers. This will require leveraging an understanding of our product as a key team member in our Sales organization.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for building strategic relationships, understanding the clients’ unique needs and pain points, and matching problems with solutions.
Role Responsibilities
Accurately and succinctly demonstrate the complexities of Nasdaq Verafin's Financial Crime Management platform for both SMB and Enterprise customers.
Work with our Sales teams to prepare product presentations, as well as product application demonstrations
Partner with various internal teams across the business to create a cohesive message aligned with providing additional value to our customers
Prepare and present integration/technical requirements to our customers
Maintain an understanding of the financial regulatory software industry and be able to effectively demonstrate our unique value proposition
Effectively communicate and differentiate the Nasdaq Verafin solution from other industry competitors
Collaborate with other sales team members by bringing forward innovative ideas in team meetings and discussions
Essential Skills & Qualifications
An understanding of software application and data integrations while having the ability to discuss technical challenges and solutions
A passion for talking to customers, helping to 'peel the onion' to uncover problems they may be having
Strong public speaking and presentation skills
Ability to interface with multiple levels within a customer's organization (c-suite, decision makers, users)
Excellent time management, collaboration, problem solving and prioritization skills
Experience with Salesforce reports and dashboards would be considered an asset
An understanding of the banking compliance industry, and the fraud landscape would be considered an asset
Additional Requirements:
Travel: Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and product demonstrations
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools
Certifications: Relevant certifications in sales or relevant banking certificates, etc. can be a plus
