QE Senior Analyst - Calypso Configuration

As a senior QA functional analyst, you will play a key role in the delivering simpler functional understanding to the automation team. You will be working in Nasdaq’s market platform technology division for a Calypso project.

With this position we offer
This position falls within the realm of the functional capabilities of test automation process wherein you will not be working on an actual automating the scripts but the successful candidates will be tasked with configuring Calypso according to provided requirements for automation purposes. Responsibilities include creating templates, developing test cases, aiding in troubleshooting, and collaborating closely with the automation and quality assurance team.
Your role and responsibilities:
As a Senior QA analyst, you would be responsible for evaluating the provided requirements thoroughly. Develop clear and sequential test cases based on the automation requirements. Establish the required configurations in both the database and Calypso system. Collaborate in the execution of automation processes. Investigate failures and provide support during execution. Support knowledge management by assisting colleagues.
We expect you to have
- At least 6-8 years of experience in the software testing field along with the hands on experience of capital markets concepts,
- Should be profficient in writing testcases, test scenarios
- Good to have known a capital market concepts like derivatives, options, futures, forwards, swaps,
- Domain knowledge around asset classes such as FX, FX Options, Bonds, Interest derivatives, etc. and knowledge around Trade Lifecycle, Trading concepts are must have.
- Good to have the experience of working on Trading tool such as Murex, Calypso, etc.
Education Qualification: Bachelor/Master in computer science / Master in Business Administration - Finance /Master in Computer Applications
It would be great if you
- Are an ISTQB certified professional
- Also carrying bunch of finance related NCFM certifications
