What You Will Do
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Senior Manager – Full Stack (Cloud) to join our 24x7 global organization. This hands-on role will report directly to the VP of Global Operations and is integral to building and developing a skilled technical team.
The candidate will build and lead a team, supporting delivery, integration, and support of complex and distributed high availability solutions to financial institutions and organizations around the globe. Additionally, the role will involve developing and implementing mid to long term plans to embrace AI technologies, which will streamline operations and maximize efficiencies within the team.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
6-10 years of experience in Agile and DevOps environments.
In-depth knowledge of Gitlab, configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform), containerization (Docker), and cloud services (AWS).
Extensive experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure management.
Extensive expertise in Linux Operating Systems and Java-based applications.
Expertise in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Perl.
Strong troubleshooting skills in fast paced environments.
Experience in supporting real-time applications in a low latency/high performance environment.
Extensive knowledge of observability tools and processes.
Aid employees in the goal setting and performance review processes; performs other talent management and development decisions as needed.
Takes accountability for the performance and results of a team within own subject area; plans and implements procedures and systems to improve operating efficiency.
Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.
Prioritizes and assigns responsibilities for projects and assignments, checking status regularly.
Motivates, develops, recruits and retains employees while rewarding and encouraging a culture of high performing teams.
Experience in the financial industry is a plus.
