As a Benefits Administrator, you will be a part of Nasdaq’s Global Benefits team focused on benefits programs in the US. You will be based in our NYC office and report to the Senior Benefits Manager for the US.

In this role you will:
Play a key role in enhancing the employee experience with regard to benefit programs in the US. This includes assisting with the day-to-day administration of U.S. employee benefits, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, spending accounts and wellness programs, as well as developing content for new hire and Open Enrollment materials

Support the development of analytics that allow the team to monitor compliance, identify enrollment issues and measure the effectiveness of various programs

Responsible for organizing data necessary to complete government compliance activities and internal audits

Serve as primary point of contact for employees regarding benefit inquiries, enrollment and claim issues

Partner with internal teams to onboard benefits vendors, ensuring risk and privacy requirements are met

Manage Benefits inbox and address inquiries from internal and external stakeholders

Work with appropriate internal teams and existing benefits providers to develop/host different wellness initiatives globally

Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and improve existing processes related to benefit enrollment and funding files

Support Leave of Absence specialist with administering Leave of Absence programs, including FMLA, short and long-term disability leaves, parental leave, military leave, bereavement, ADA requests and other company-specific leave policies

Coordinate and schedule meetings with benefits carriers and internal stakeholders as needed

The Best-Suited Candidate

  • 2-3 years of experience with administration of US employee benefit and leave of absence programs. Experience with Canadian and LATAM benefit programs is a plus.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Understanding of state and local laws governing leave such as ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, and ADA to ensure compliance

  • Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations regarding the processing of health and welfare benefits

  • Bachelor’s degree

    This position can be located in New York, and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment (at least 2 days a week in office, subject to change), providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.

The base pay range for this role is $75,000 - $80,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
