This position is designed for a deeply energetic, creative, and seasoned leader who is skilled at balancing brand awareness, reputation protection, and campaign execution. You will lead a team of digital communications strategists, communicating our purpose and offerings to the market through innovative and impactful digital channels.
Qualifications:
• 12-15 years of experience in digital communications and social media.
• Deep familiarity with paid and organic strategies for social media platforms, especially Twitter (X) and LinkedIn.
• Proven track record of managing high-performing teams.
• Ability to serve as a senior advisor to the executive management team.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data for strategy development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Digital Strategy Leadership: Lead our global digital communications and social media strategy, encompassing audience development, content creation, and distribution across multiple platforms.
2. Platform Management: Oversee the management and optimization of our digital and social media platforms, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and business goals.
3. Content Creation and Curation: Develop and manage the execution of a content strategy that includes the creation of compelling, audience-centric content that resonates with our audiences and supports our brand narrative.
4. Community Engagement: Build and nurture an engaged community of followers across digital and social media platforms. Implement strategies for proactive engagement and responsive communication.
5. Paid Media Strategy: Lead paid media strategy for the digital communications and social media team, collaborating with key performance marketers as part of the Paid Social Media Center of Excellence.
6. Collaboration and Partnerships: Identify and establish collaborations with key third parties, advocates, and customers to support reputational and commercial goals.
7. Crisis Management: Develop and implement crisis communication strategies to protect Nasdaq's reputation in times of social media challenges.
8. Training and Development: Mentor and develop digital communications and social media team members, ensuring continuous learning and professional growth.
This position can be located in New York, and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment (at least 2 days a week in office, subject to change), providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.

The base pay range for this role is $137,100 - $228,600. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth.
