Verafin is a cutting-edge software company focused on delivering next generation fraud and money laundering solutions to financial institutions across North America. Our rapid growth and continuing success mean we have an opening for an experienced Enterprise Software Sales Professional to join our team.

The Enterprise Sales team focuses on customers who want to improve their processes by purchasing software to automate or upgrade their current solution. Working collaboratively, this team is focused on identifying new business opportunities, growing relationships with the top banks in the world, and taking a leading role as we expand into global markets. This is a true team selling environment!

The ideal candidate will have a passion for building strategic relationships, understanding the clients’ unique needs and pain points, and matching problems with solutions.

Role Responsibilities

  • Move enterprise sales prospects through the buying process, including lead qualification, discovery, demos/presentations, due diligence review & contract negotiation

  • Uncover pain points and problems at large financial institutions that Verafin can help solve

  • Engage with multiple buying influences to build long term relationships

  • Partner with various internal teams across the business to create a seamless experience for prospective customers

  • Maintain an understanding of the financial regulatory software industry and be able to effectively demonstrate our unique value proposition

  • Collaborate with other sales team members by bringing forward innovative ideas in team meetings and discussions

  • Participate in product and skills training sessions, and professional development classes

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • B2B Sales or Enterprise Account Management experience, ideally in the software industry

  • Experience collaborating on sales strategy and selling

  • Ability to engage with multiple levels within an organization (c-suite, decision makers, users)

  • A proven track record of achieving sales targets

  • An understanding of the banking compliance and fraud industry would be considered an asset

  • Experience using Salesforce and LinkedIn would be considered an asset

  • Building, maintaining and expanding customer relationships

  • Collaborating effectively with your team to drive engagement and expansion within Enterprise Banks

  • Growing the sales pipeline through identifying new opportunities for prospective and current customers
