Our rapid growth and continuing success mean we have an opening for an experienced Enterprise Software Sales Professional to join our team.

The Enterprise Sales team focuses on customers who want to improve their processes by purchasing software to automate or upgrade their current solution. Working collaboratively with Product Strategy and Customer Success, this team is focused on identifying new business opportunities, growing relationships with the top banks in the world, and taking a leading role as we expand into global markets. This is a true team selling environment!

The ideal candidate will have a passion for talking to people, understanding their unique needs and pain points, and helping them create a world class financial crime management solution.

Role Responsibilities

  • Helping move enterprise sales prospects through the buying process, including lead qualification, discovery, demos/presentations, due diligence review & contract negotiation.
  • Uncovering pain/problems within a large financial institution that Verafin can help solve.
  • Engaging with multiple buying influences and mapping your actions to align with where the prospect is in their buying process.
  • Maintaining Salesforce to log calls & meetings, relevant information and forecast the sales opportunity.
  • Collaborating with the Technical Sales team on creating a product demo that maps to the sales prospect’s needs and pain points.
  • Collaborating with other internal teams such as customer success, security & legal.
  • Understanding the competitive landscape of the financial regulatory software industry and being able to effectively demonstrate our unique value proposition.
  • Collaborating with other sales team members by bringing forward innovative ideas in team meetings and discussions.
  • Participate in product training sessions, meetings, skills training and professional development classes.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ sales experience ideally in the software industry.
  • Experience collaborating on sales strategy and selling.
  • Experience with researching and understanding new market segments.
  • Ability to interface with multiple levels within a prospect’s organization (c-suite, decision makers, users).
  • An understanding of the banking compliance industry would be an asset.
  • Experience using Salesforce would be an asset.
  • A proven track record of achieving sales targets.
