Job Description
As a Product Marketing Manager at Vention ...
you will be an individual contributor responsible for driving go-to-market execution, messaging, and adoption of Vention’s core platform software products, including MachineBuilder, MachineLogic, Simulation, and Operate software.
This role works closely with Product, Growth, Sales, and Brand teams to bring platform capabilities to market with clear positioning, compelling storytelling, and strong commercial enablement. The Product Marketing Manager plays a key role in shaping how Vention’s platform is understood by customers and prospects while also driving high-visibility go-to-market initiatives in the business.
What You’ll Do
Product Marketing & Go-To-Market Execution
- Own product marketing execution for Vention’s Platform Software portfolio, including positioning, messaging frameworks, value propositions, and differentiation.
- Execute go-to-market plans for new software launches and major releases in collaboration with Product, Growth, and Sales leaders.
- Support definition of target audiences, core use cases, launch narratives, channels, and campaign formats.
- Ensure consistent product messaging across website, campaigns, and sales-facing materials.
- Own assigned marketing deliverables within the product launch process, ensuring readiness across messaging and customer-facing assets.
- Support sustainment of existing products through refreshed collateral, campaigns, and storytelling.
Sales Enablement & Commercial Support
- Develop commercial sales enablement assets for platform software, including pitch decks, product overviews, objection handling, and competitive positioning.
- Support delivery of commercial (non-technical) sales training to ensure strong product understanding and consistent messaging.
- Partner with Product on technical training content while contributing to commercial framing and storytelling.
- Equip Sales with tools and narratives to articulate platform value to different customer personas.
- Support strategic deals and competitive situations as needed, in partnership with senior marketing and sales leaders.
Marketing Communications & Collaboration
- Contribute product expertise to Marketing by reviewing and supporting copy, visuals, and campaign direction.
- Collaborate with Brand, Growth, Web, Content, and Events teams to ensure software products are represented accurately and consistently.
- Support brand initiatives, events, tradeshows, webinars, and content programs with strong product knowledge.
- Apply analytical thinking to messaging and campaign performance, leveraging user feedback, experimentation, and funnel insights to improve impact.
- Present product updates, launch overviews, and campaign results to internal stakeholders.
Product Strategy, Market Intelligence & Packaging
- Partner with Product Management to gather market insight, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence.
- Support competitive analysis of software platforms, automation ecosystems, and evolving go-to-market strategies.
- Contribute to product packaging, naming, and positioning discussions with Product and Brand Marketing.
- Support Annual Product Roadmap planning and Quarterly Product Reviews with market and customer insights.
- Help ensure platform capabilities are clearly framed and communicated for market relevance.

You’ll bring:
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus).
- At least 3 years of product marketing experience, preferably in B2B technology, hardware, or industrial applications.
- Proven experience in developing go-to-market strategies and delivering successful product launches.
- Strong skills in product positioning, value proposition development, and messaging.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with ability to translate technical concepts into compelling narratives.
- Strong analytical capabilities, comfortable working with data, running tests, and optimizing campaigns.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with product management, sales, design, and engineering teams.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
