Job Description
We’re looking for a collaborative and adaptable Junior Web Developer to join our Marketing team on a six month contract. You’ll help build, maintain, and improve our marketing web pages and digital experiences, ensuring they look amazing, load fast, and convert visitors into happy customers. This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in front-end development who’s eager to grow, experiment, and make a real impact on a high-traffic B2B site with a modern look and feel.
What You’ll Do
- Play a key role in evolving the next generation of Vention’s marketing website, working closely with designers and technical teammates to tell our story and attract new customers.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize high-quality web pages and landing pages.
- Build responsive, pixel-perfect interfaces using React and Next.js, leveraging our design system and Storybook to create reusable UI components and scalable page templates.
- Ensure components and templates are structured for seamless integration with a CMS.
- Build 2–4 pages per week, with varying levels of complexity, balancing speed with quality.
- Manage integrations of forms with Hubspot.
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other developers to test and launch new templates, content blocks, and features.
- Optimize pages for site performance, SEO, and user experience — including A/B testing and tagging.
- Troubleshoot bugs and ensure a smooth, consistent experience across devices and browsers.
- Stay current on web trends and suggest improvements for speed, accessibility, and usability.

What You’ll Bring
- 0–2 years of web development experience (internships, co-ops, or personal projects count!).
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a working knowledge of front-end development best practices.
- Interest in user-centric design and marketing — you care about pages that look great and drive results.
- Familiarity with SEO basics, analytics tools (like Google Analytics or Tag Manager), and design tools such as Figma.
- Strong collaboration skills — you work well with designers, marketers, and technical teams to solve problems creatively.
- Critical thinking, adaptability, and a drive to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills in French and English.
