Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and action-oriented Business Systems Architect with a “builder” mindset to join our growing Revenue Operations (RevOps) team in a fast-paced, B2B scale up.

In this role you will drive and execute the development of our Revenue tech stack. You will be responsible for the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of our Revenue platforms (Salesforce, Hubspot, Salesloft, Gong, Plecto, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator). You will also be the subject matter expert for these tools in our organization, leading the charge on user enablement, data governance, and strategic system enhancements. Your goals will be to ensure alignment with business processes across departments and to maximize user productivity.

You will report to the Director of Revenue Operations, and work closely with stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, Growth, Customer Success, and Operations.

Key Responsibilities

System Administration & Configuration

  • Manage all aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, and sharing rules.
  • Configure Salesforce objects, fields, record types, page layouts, validation rules, formulas, and automation tools (Flows, Process Builder, Workflow Rules).
  • Maintain security settings and data access controls in compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor system health, logs, and error reports to identify and resolve platform issues.

Process Automation & Optimization

  • Analyze and document business requirements and translate them into technical solutions (e.g. using Salesforce’s declarative tools)
  • Design and implement custom workflows, automated flows, and approval processes to streamline operations.
  • Identify repetitive tasks and propose scalable automation strategies.

Data Management & Reporting

  • Ensure data integrity through regular data audits, deduplication, and cleansing activities.
  • Manage large data sets using Data Loader, import/export tools, and third-party integrations.
  • Build and maintain dynamic reports and dashboards for key stakeholders across departments.

Training & Support

  • Provide Platform support to end-users and troubleshoot user issues.
  • Develop training materials, conduct onboarding sessions, and create user documentation and manuals.
  • Advocate for system best practices and support change management efforts to enhance adoption.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with business leaders to identify tech stack needs and contribute to the tech stack development roadmap
  • Participate in cross-functional project teams for initiatives like new product launches, territory planning, or system integrations.
  • Coordinate with external vendors or consultants as needed for complex implementations or development work.

Platform Maintenance & Innovation

  • Monitor platform seasonal releases and propose adoption of relevant new features.
  • Evaluate and manage AppExchange applications and third-party integrations.
  • Stay informed on trends and industry best practices in Revenue tech stack to drive innovation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related role (Infrastructure architect, Salesforce Administrator, etc.)
  • Strong technical experience with growth tech stack, including Salesforces, SalesLoft, HubSpot, Snowflake, PowerBI
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities, limitations, and best practices (Salesforce Administrator Certification required).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with cross-platform integration and migrations, and with setting up new platforms in complex work environments
  • Proficient in data management, including data import/export tools, deduplication, and data validation (SQL an asset).
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
