Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced Performance Marketing Specialist to lead our paid marketing and conversion optimization efforts. This role will focus on maximizing the effectiveness of our Google Ads, optimizing conversion rates, and enhancing our marketing funnel insights. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic approach to budget allocation, creative testing, and performance analysis, working to drive efficiency and improve key marketing metrics. More specifically you will work on:
1. Digital Marketing Management
- Google Ads Management: Manage and optimize our Google Ads account to achieve key performance metrics, ensuring alignment with marketing goals.
- Campaign Launch & Optimization: Plan, execute, and launch new campaigns, with a focus on maximizing ROI and improving campaign effectiveness through continuous optimization.
- Budget Allocation: Strategically allocate budgets based on sales cycles and geographic locations, optimizing for maximum performance.
- Creative Testing: Regularly test new ad creatives, adjust keywords, headlines, and audience targeting to enhance ad effectiveness.
- Marketing Efficiency: Drive improvements in our Marketing Efficiency Ratio (MER) by implementing targeted campaigns, monitoring performance, and adapting to emerging trends.
2. Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
- Performance Reporting: Develop comprehensive reporting tools to accurately measure conversion rates across all pages, analyzing drop-offs, and performance.
- A/B Testing: Conduct A/B testing on landing page elements, such as calls-to-action and visuals, to enhance user experience and conversion rates.
- Data Analysis: Use insights from CRO efforts to recommend data-driven improvements to the website and user journey.
3. Funnel Reporting & Analysis
- Conversion Source Diagnostics: Track and analyze the performance of traffic sources to determine which ones yield the highest conversion rates.
- Reporting Stack Development: Create a reliable reporting infrastructure to measure key metrics and conversion rates across the marketing funnel.
- Pipeline Insights: Identify and report on events within the funnel that contribute to pipeline growth.
4. Marketing Ops
- Assist in processing leads from offline events (tradeshows, webinar, customer events)
- Make sure every lead is properly tagged to measure ROI
- Prequalify inbound leads and assign them to the right team.
Qualifications
- University degree with a minimum three (3) years of experience as part of a go-to-market, performance marketing or demand generation role.
- Deep understanding of the major ad platforms (Google Ads, Linkedin Ads, Meta)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and Microsoft PowerPoint/Google Slides
- Strong analytical skills with experience using tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, Salesforce, or other CRM/analytics tools.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and how they apply to paid search campaigns.
- Bilingualism (EN and FR)
