Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Processing Associate to join our team. This role involves operating extrusion machinery, performing precision cuts, and overseeing the picking, packing, and preparation of materials for shipment. The ideal candidate will ensure that production and logistics operations run smoothly, adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate extrusion saws and other machinery to process materials according to production needs.
  • Perform picking and packing of materials for assembly and shipment.
  • Ensure all products meet quality specifications before packaging.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following 5S principles.
  • Monitor inventory levels, report shortages, and assist with restocking as necessary.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any malfunctions.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling environments.
  • Familiarity with extrusion processes and saw operation is a plus.
  • Ability to lift and move materials as required (up to 20kg).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting.

Skills:

  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate various machines.
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Team player with effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
  • Capability to handle materials safely and efficiently.
  • Flexible to do overtime
