The Role

As a Senior Product Designer, you will take on a leading role in shaping the experience for thousands of property managers and vendors. At VendorPM, you’ll work with highly motivated like-minded individuals who are all driven to do their best work every day. Design isn’t just a team, it’s a practice and a philosophy. Design, Product, and Engineering work as partners every step of the way. We talk to users directly, test our designs iteratively and strive to build world-class products

What You'll Do

As a key member of our team, you’ll:

  • Create exceptional user experiences: Design intuitive, industry-leading solutions that simplify the lives of property managers and vendors.
  • Lead with design systems: Drive the creation and enhancement of components within our Atlas Design System.
  • Conduct user research: Partner with Product Managers to uncover user needs, pain points, and behaviours, translating insights into actionable design solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales teams to ensure designs are practical and impactful.
  • Facilitate design critiques: Foster a culture of constructive feedback and collaboration to elevate design standards.
  • Test and iterate: Conduct moderated and unmoderated user testing, refining designs based on data-driven insights.
  • Deliver dev-ready assets: Produce high-quality design artifacts with clear annotations, ensuring a smooth handoff to engineering.
  • Measure success: Partner with Product Managers to evaluate project outcomes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Support team growth: Share your expertise, mentor team members, and contribute to the overall strength of our design function.

You’re the Missing Piece of the Puzzle

  • Experience: 5+ years of end-to-end Product Design experience, preferably working on complex products with multiple user types and integrated systems.
  • Expertise in Figma: Proven ability to create polished designs and contribute to design systems with a high level of proficiency.
  • User-centric mindset: A strong ability to balance user needs with business goals, taking a thoughtful, iterative approach to design.
  • Collaboration skills: Experience working closely with Product, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to align on feasibility and execution.
  • Research-driven design: Confidence in conducting user research and synthesizing data into actionable insights.
  • Attention to detail: Strong organizational skills and a knack for producing clear, development-ready artifacts.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate design rationale and ideas effectively.
  • Pragmatism: A practical approach that ensures that design investments align with the expected ROI
  • Grit: You bring an outstanding level of determination to deliver value to users in the shortest time possible
  • Confidence: To make bets with less than optimal information and be able to adjust and iterate on the fly based on user feedback

Bonus If You Have

  • Experience creating and managing advanced Figma prototypes

Compensation:

$100,000 - 135,000 Salary
