As a Vendasta Product Manager, you will guide the strategy and execution for the vision “Build on the Vendasta Platform”. You will use data to identify and prioritize high-impact work by collaborating with cross-functional teams, gathering insights from users and other stakeholders, and testing prototypes and features. Working with the leadership team, software developers, design and product marketing, you will build innovative and customer-focused products / Integrations to Vendasta platform for our channel partners and small-to-medium-sized businesses they serve. You will build products from existing ideas and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience, as well as your contact with stakeholders, customers, and prospects. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, ability to create and communicate a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality.

Your Impact:

    • Own, manage, and deliver the vision, strategy, and execution of a Vendasta product and Integrations with Channel Partners.
    • Drive the roadmap and prioritization of innovative and engaging features that solve our customers’ biggest problems
    • Guide a custom product for Integration, launch, measurement of success, and ongoing iteration alongside a skilled and passionate cross-functional team.
    • Collaborate and communicate frequently with key stakeholders—including users, channel partners, sales, support, and the leadership team—to gather important insights that drive your product in the right direction
    • Develop measurable objectives, track and measure user activity, learn and iterate quickly.
    • Measure success against objectives and business outcomes, not just feature delivery.
    • Facilitate weekly business reviews and product backlog refinement sessions with development teams and stakeholders, to continually measure, learn and iterate your product towards meeting objectives.
    • Prioritize and allocate resources against a variety of ongoing projects and releases across your cross-functional teams
    • Define the problem and scope for a given epic and present backlog items and key milestones to make up product roadmap
    • Work with development teams to ensure software is built according to the acceptance criteria and our software development principles.

    • Actively engage with your scrum team to ensure development decisions stay aligned with user and business needs
    • Develop expertise in your focus area, and keep on top of competitors and industry trends
    • Be the subject matter specialist and evangelist for your product; educating stakeholders on new features and value proposition

    What You Bring to the Table:

        • 4+ years as a Product Manager
        • B2B Saas Experience is considered as an asset
        • Empathy—this means you'll have the ability and desire to deeply understand our customers; what motivates them, frustrates them and makes them happy.
        • Proven leadership capabilities and ability to motivate and unify multiple cross-functional teams to work towards a common goal
        • Strong communication skills—written and via presentation to an audience.
        • Innovative and consistently curious—constantly seeking ways to improve our offerings based on industry trends, experience, common customer pain points, and competitor research
        • Knowledgeable about and up-to-date on technology—especially in the Software as a Service (SaaS) space; interested in learning about what other companies are doing and finding ways to apply to our offerings
        • Demonstrated success in delivering innovative and user-friendly products from inception to delivery
        • Exceptional problem-solving capabilities that prioritize across multiple key stakeholders, as well as internal teams
        • Ability to make confident recommendations based on data analysis, customer insight and ongoing stakeholder engagement
        • Previous experience working in a scrum/agile environment.
        • Experience writing product requirements, user stories and functional specifications for both technical and non-technical audiences.
        • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or an applicable field is considered a strong asset
