Vena Solutions is looking for a Services Solutions Manager to partner with the sales team to lead the selling of Vena services to customers. As a Services Solution Manager, you will act as an advisor ensuring the customers’ planning priorities and objectives are satisfied with a focus on the customer successful adoption of the Vena product. Leveraging your deep understanding of FP&A, you will build customer trust and guide the customer through implementation best practices and methodology. This role will report into the Manager, Solutions Services.
What you will do:
- Be the “Big Picture” advisor who can quickly understand prospective and existing customer business needs and articulate how the Vena Professional Services team can deliver Customer Success through project delivery
- Partner and strategize closely with a team of sales and account managers to achieve revenue and margin targets, taking a solution-oriented approach to customer needs and priorities
- Gather information and requirements with a consultative approach that uncover prospects business needs and builds customer trust
- Prepare estimates, contracts and implementation plans to deliver on prospect requirements and negotiate to arrive at competitive offerings to achieve Vena’s business goals
- Collaborate cross functionally with Product, Professional Services, Sales, and Customer Success to document, enable, and educate sales and account managers on Professional Services solutions and available packages
- Represent the Professional Services team by diligently assessing risk, estimating consultant work effort, and remaining assertive while representing Services interests
- Contribute to the refinement of estimating models, sales collateral that communicate Vena Professional Services offerings and approaches
- Deliver presentations to prospects on Vena methodology, project proposals, roadmaps and visioning sessions
- Drive new methodology enhancements that improve the customer experience and efficiency in the sales cycle
- Travel (as required) to client sites
Does this sound like you?
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Business/Finance discipline and/r equivalent experience
- 7+ years of relevant work experience in Finance/Accounting and/or software implementation and sales-related experience
- 3+ years implementation/professional services experience with Corporate Performance Management (CPM) vendor and/or implementation partner
- Ability to gather, understand and communicate prospect requirements in a consultative approach to define scope and deliverables while gaining customer trust
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to quickly build credibility with senior management and C-suite Finance stakeholders in sales cycles
- Excellent written communication skills demonstrating accuracy and aesthetic style around SOW’s or other documents you prepare as part of sales proposals
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to influence, negotiate, management conflict, and vary level of detail according to audience
- Able to self-manage and work hard while prioritizing demands
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Interest in AI and willingness to explore AI-driven solutions to enhance performance and drive efficiencies
