About the role:
Vena is looking for a Training Specialist to join our Customer Training team. An ideal candidate will be someone who can deliver a best-in-class training experience for internal and external Vena customers. The trainer will be responsible for providing live (remote) instructor-led sessions, webinars and internal training, alongside aiding in the development and maintenance of training materials and processes.
You will also assist in identifying and prioritizing the needs of training at Vena and support the creation of internal and external resources to continue to build out and extend our current offering.
What you will do:
- Facilitate live (remote) instructor-led training to customers within diverse industries
- Provide product training to internal teams, partner organizations, and others as required
- Inspire customers to attain Vena product mastery via leading the execution of product training via customer webinars
- Communicate best practices across the team to promote continuous development of training initiatives related to customer implementations
- Create, revise and edit high quality training materials that support the customer journey, including both video and written content, in partnership with the Instructional Design team
- Utilize principles of instructional design, technology, and learning theory to design the curriculum, learning tools, or other instructional resources
- Provide advisory/consulting services to customers and partners
- Maintain the Vena user guide and all other collaterals used as extra resources for customers as part of the training curriculum
- Partner with the Training Operations Analyst in tracking Instructor-Led session attendance and updates to documentation inclusive of the Knowledge Base
- Demonstrates the best-practice use of Vena functionality, by staying informed on all product updates and releases
- Acts as a subject matter expert and continually seeks opportunities to update product knowledge capabilities
- Other duties as assigned
Does this sound like you?:
- 2+ years of experience in training/consulting, preferably within a SaaS-based environment
- Strong presentation skills both live and on camera/audio, with the flexibility to match style to audience persona.
- Able to apply adult learning theories to classroom situations
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex technology in a clear, concise, and effective manner for a wide range of audiences.
- You are proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, alongside proficiency in leading web meetings
- Ability to understand and adapt to various audiences within the Organization (diverse individuals, groups, and levels of expertise)
- Great mindset for identifying ways to improve existing processes to support scalability and growth
- Eagerness to learn, proven ability to quickly adapt and learn new software programs
- A motivated self-starter with a high energy level
