Our Customer Success team strives to provide the highest customer engagement in the SPM space through a focus on Trust, Reliability and a Customer First approach. We are looking for a dedicated, ambitious and self-driven Technical Account Manager. As a Technical Account Manager, you will work closely with a portfolio of customers, building relationship, supporting their business goals by solving sales solution-oriented challenges, answering product, implementation and solutions questions, implementing specific solutions and aligning customer goals to the Varicent software suite of products. You will quickly become an expert on the Customer use cases for Varicent products and the specifics of the existing solution which has been implemented.

What you will do:

  • Generate and communicate monthly performance and support metric reports
  • Configure Varicent specific solutions based on customer requirements as requested
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to build and maintain relationships with decision makers, business contacts, and influencers
  • Educate clients on how existing and new product features and functionality work, and how it can contribute to their business growth
  • Take initiatives in identifying growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with our team to achieve sustainable project and product growth
  • Enable and optimize your customers ability to use and maintain their Varicent solution
  • Provide business, technical, and product knowledge to satisfy a customer’s business needs
  • Address escalated client issues with speed and urgency, orchestrating resources across the company as appropriate
  • Address product related questions and technical challenges
  • Document and communicate project status regularly to the Project Management team
  • Coordinate and communicate with the customer’s project manager and project resources
  • Review impact of new features and fixes and assess those against customers organizational needs
  • Work with Business to review change management process and propose future state where possible.
  • Success Milestones:
    Within 1 month, you will:
  • Participate in new hire training, bootcamp
  • Orient yourself with Varicent delivery methodology and key deliverables
  • Have a good overview of the market, the customers, and the user personas
  • Begin Customer orientation
  • Complete Varicent Certification
  • Participate in a customer implementation phase to understand and support ongoing requirements optimization
  • Within 3 months, you will:
  • Be actively engaged with a suite of Varicent customers
  • Become a motivating force and pursue strong customer engagement
  • Increase familiarity with ICM and the Varicent Suite of products
  • Complete build and configuration of intermediate or advanced deliverables within a project
  • Within 6 months, you will:
  • Be able to identify internal process gaps propose solutions and be a key customer advocate
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions within your immediate and broader teams
  • Mentor new hires on product implementation and project methodology
  • Stay up to date on product improvements
  • Within 1 year, you will:
  • Prescriptively guide customers toward recommended approaches to satisfy requirements
  • Provide technical governance and quality control over delivered work by yourself and other team members
  • Be able to demonstrate the success of your work through customer feedback and internal feedback
  • Become a subject matter expert in several aspects of Varicent ICM
  • Be able to provide accurate product feedback to Project Management teams
  • Be able to identify opportunities for use of the various offerings in the Varicent product suite to improve customer outcomes
  • Be able to advise the customer on the relevance and value of using new tools and functionalities across the Varicent product suite

What you will bring:

  • You have at least 6 years in Enterprise Software Implementation and/ or Technical Sales
  • Possess the ability to match client’s business requirements with product capabilities
  • You are comfortable guiding clients through architecture and design choices
  • Have proven experience making decisions based on strong analytical reasoning skills
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills that build positive relationships with other team members
  • You have a strong ability to be motivating and with a drive to succeed
  • You have a strong ability to organize work schedule and time to ensure deadlines are always met
  • Customer-centric – ability to empathize with customers and understand their needs at every stage of the product development
  • Demonstrated experience with Query Based Languages and Relational Databases
  • Possess initiative and ability to work with minor oversight
  • You have the ability to adapt to evolving and changing processes
  • Preferred: Strong understanding of Sales Performance Management domain
  • Preferred: 4+ years of experience implementing Sales Performance Management solutions
