About the role:
As an engagement manager, you will be responsible for managing various client accounts, which includes ensuring smooth implementation of the software, building strong client relationships, and demonstrating a deep understanding of how users can leverage the tool to meet their business needs. You’ll be involved in scoping engagements for pre-sales, developing and executing on delivery plans, and looking for further opportunities for clients to engage with Validere.
Key Responsibilities:
Champion client engagements to deploy our software, ensure user adoption, and provide strategic advisory services, while cultivating meaningful relationships with clients to ensure their success and satisfaction
Spearhead the adoption of industry-leading best practices, empowering clients to optimize their experience using our product and expertise
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, where your ideas and leadership will shape cross-functional processes that elevate the customer journey
Lead a dynamic team of technical and subject matter experts, leveraging their skills to meet strategic client goals while identifying new value creation opportunities
Partner with our Sales team to scope client engagements by providing strategic advisory and technical support throughout the pre-sales process
Qualifications:
Strong track record of successfully managing teams and projects. Bonus points for managing software implementations, consulting engagements, and other technology projects
Growth mindset, curiosity, passion for learning new things
First-principles thinking – you have the strong desire to understand any topic at a deeper level than most, and are unsatisfied with decisions based on convention or unjustified assumptions
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, formulate and test hypotheses quickly and efficiently
Expert communication skills - both oral and written - with the ability to tailor messaging for technical, business, and executive audiences
Strong grasp of math and statistics, understanding of chemistry/physics; business-logic-level understanding of software implementations, IoT, automation techniques, and other technologies
Preferred: Experience with software implementations, customer success, and business process consulting

Experience with Python and common data packages (NumPy, Pandas)
Ability to work with disparate data sources (i.e SQL, CSV, APIs) and leverage a Python codebase
Familiarity with leveraging standard API protocols and practices to query, manipulate and ingest data
