🚀 Operations & Compliance Manager (AI & GRC Focused)

THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are seeking a proactive, highly reliable, and trustworthy Operations & Compliance Manager to join Unyte Health. This is a role of exceptionally high responsibility and trust, serving as a critical guardian of our operational integrity, security, and regulatory standing. The individual in this position will be responsible for executing key operational strategies and maintaining our compliance programs, ensuring every process is robust and trustworthy.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
⚙️ Operations & Enablement
- Educate and support team members with practical operations skills, efficiency awareness, and operational AI skills.
- Assist in the governance and operations of Unyte’s 3rd party SaaS and cloud platforms and tools, including vendor management.
- Maintain and update various employee processes such as onboarding and offboarding.
- Participate in the selection of, and ensure optimum usage of, all internal work-related tools.
- Contribute to Unyte’s “How We Work” program, coordinating efforts to determine the most effective ways to work together.
- Assist in operations monitoring of all Unyte platforms and assist with provisioning of IT equipment, where necessary.
🛡️ Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with Unyte’s product safety requirements with appropriate processes and procedures.
- Under the guidance of the Chief Security Officer (CSO) and Chief Privacy Officer (CPO), execute and maintain compliance with current and future security/privacy frameworks such as HIPAA, GDPR, PIPEDA, SOC2, etc.
- Support the oversight and execution of our data governance program.
- Coordinate with leadership to ensure continuous alignment with any required regulatory standards.
- Document compliance requirements, establish reporting cadences, and maintain ongoing compliance activities.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes to identify potential risks and implement preventative measures.

- Maintain and oversee compliance of Unyte’s Security and Privacy programs.
- Evangelize and educate security awareness across the organization.
🤖 Process Improvement, Automation and AI
- Work cross-functionally, applying Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement frameworks to identify opportunities for AI application, automation and optimization.
- With leadership guidance, develop an AI operations strategy into actionable, phased implementation plans with clear metrics.
- Identify, prioritize, and implement high-leverage use cases for AI application across all functions.

Experience & Education
- A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in Operations Management, Compliance, Program Coordination, or a GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) role, ideally within a technology or software product company.
- Demonstrated experience executing and maintaining controls related to complex compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR).
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills
- A strong interest and desire to implement AI capabilities in your field.
- Personable and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A practical understanding and basic working knowledge of data privacy and security frameworks, including GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2.
- Experience in, or exposure to, applying process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean or Six Sigma concepts).
- A strong ability to collaborate and coordinate effectively across multiple technical and non-technical departments.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to execute cross-functional initiatives.
Nice to Haves
- Certifications such as CISA, CIPP/E, CIPP/US, or PMP.
- Experience in developing strategic plans or frameworks related to the secure adoption of emerging technologies, such as AI.
- Experience with applying AI to solve operational processes and problems.
