Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented DevOps Engineer with at least 2 years of hands-on experience. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of DevOps practices, Linux administration, Azure Cloud, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines. Additionally, experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog, Nagios, and Grafana is highly desirable.

The successful candidate will report to the Team Lead Infrastructure and Security - Ulula, and carry out the following responsibilities:

  • DevOps Practices: Implement and maintain DevOps pipelines, ensuring efficient and automated deployment processes.

  • Linux Administration: Manage and troubleshoot Linux-based systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.

  • Azure Cloud Management: Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, including setting up and managing resources.

  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use Terraform and Ansible to automate and manage infrastructure deployments and configurations.

  • CI/CD Pipelines: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to support the software development lifecycle.

  • Monitoring and Logging: Set up and manage monitoring tools like Datadog, Nagios, and Grafana to ensure system performance and reliability.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration and continuous delivery.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in DevOps, Linux administration, and cloud technologies.
  • Basic to mid-level expertise in Azure Cloud, Terraform, Ansible, and Azure DevOps.
  • Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog, Nagios, and Grafana.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
  • Basic understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Relevant certifications in Azure, DevOps, or Linux.
