About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate to spearhead multi-disciplinary R&D product developments in the audio and video domain. As a Technical Leader, you will play a pivotal role in leading the development of complex systems consisting of both hardware and software components. Your expertise will drive technological advancements, and result-driven outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Provide exceptional technical leadership, demonstrating a strong foundation of technological depth and skills, to guide multi-disciplinary R&D product developments. Lead and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Technological Expertise: Possess an extensive technical knowledge base in both hardware and software domains, with a deep understanding of audio and video technologies. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation and enhance product outcomes.
  • System View and Detail-Oriented Approach: Demonstrate the ability to have a wide system view while being capable of diving deep into technical challenges when necessary. Oversee the entire product development process, while also providing hands-on technical guidance and support to resolve complex issues.
  • Project Management: Lead the end-to-end development of complex audio and video systems, defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Establish clear timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies to ensure successful and timely project completion.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations. Act as a key technical representative, providing insights and recommendations for optimal product development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience. Strong background in both hardware and software development, advantage to expertise in audio and video technologies, signal processing (FPGA and DSP), firmware, and algorithms.
  • A passion for technology and a deep understanding of the audio and video domain, including emerging trends and technologies. Ability to analyze complex technical challenges, propose innovative solutions, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Result-Driven Mindset: Proven ability to drive projects to successful completion within defined timelines and quality standards. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on delivering tangible results.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and requirements. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain a high level of professionalism.
  • Project Management Skills: Proven track record of successfully leading multi-disciplinary R&D product developments, demonstrating proven abilities in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
