Your Role

Kramer is hiring a new Pre-Sales Engineer (based in Melbourne) for the Australia region. This role reports to the National Solutions Engineer, Australia.

As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will be.

  • Developing solutions and organising, planning, creating & delivering compelling proof of concept demonstrations.
  • Planning and conducting training to channel partners and end-customers at a regional level.
  • Supporting regional trainings and events when needed.
  • Ensuring proposed solutions are best practice and in line with client’s requirements.
  • Assisting the sales bid process by working closely with the sales team, and consultants.
  • Working closely with the sales team to ensure the successful closure of the sales process.
  • Liaising with Product Managers to provide feedback from clients about product requirements.
  • Keeping abreast of market trends and product & competitor landscapes.
  • Going out to see consultants, end users and ICT staff to build relationships and expose them to new solutions.
  • Flexible, methodical, and able to multitask.

Education & Experience

  • Diploma or degree or a combination of education and experience in engineering, information systems, or business administration.
  • 3-5 years of industry experience, including 2 or more years in sales engineering or consultancy.
  • Good knowledge of the IT Network Infrastructure and Management.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) and/or Networking certifications/experience will be an added advantage.
  • Knowing Kramer products would be advantageous.
  • Having fundamental AV knowledge and understanding how to design an AV System.
