Your Role
Kramer is hiring a new Pre-Sales Engineer (based in Melbourne) for the Australia region. This role reports to the National Solutions Engineer, Australia.
As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will be.
- Developing solutions and organising, planning, creating & delivering compelling proof of concept demonstrations.
- Planning and conducting training to channel partners and end-customers at a regional level.
- Supporting regional trainings and events when needed.
- Ensuring proposed solutions are best practice and in line with client’s requirements.
- Assisting the sales bid process by working closely with the sales team, and consultants.
- Working closely with the sales team to ensure the successful closure of the sales process.
- Liaising with Product Managers to provide feedback from clients about product requirements.
- Keeping abreast of market trends and product & competitor landscapes.
- Going out to see consultants, end users and ICT staff to build relationships and expose them to new solutions.
- Flexible, methodical, and able to multitask.

- OK to travel. This role requires some travelling.
- Diploma or degree or a combination of education and experience in engineering, information systems, or business administration.
- 3-5 years of industry experience, including 2 or more years in sales engineering or consultancy.
- Good knowledge of the IT Network Infrastructure and Management.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) and/or Networking certifications/experience will be an added advantage.
- Knowing Kramer products would be advantageous.
- Having fundamental AV knowledge and understanding how to design an AV System.
