About The RoleWe're looking for a IL Controller to join our finance team.Reporting directly to the Director of Finance.This role includes responsibility over all aspects of the financial and tax reporting in Israel. What will your job look like?
  • Manage the monthly and quarterly period end closure including assets and liabilities update to period end and P&L - such as cash and cash equivalents, inventories, fixed assets, AR/AP balances, accrued expenses, revenues reconciliation, bonus accruals, payroll accruals etc.
  • Coordinates and analyzes financial plans and forecasts and works independently to provide information to management.
  • Leading the annual audit with the audit teams.
  • Support many aspects of accounting and bookkeeping management (review of journal entries, invoices, payments, monthly and quarterly closure, billing, tax return, financial reporting etc.).
  • Preparing all tax related matters of the Israeli company including financial reports in accordance with Israeli GAAP.
  • Proactively identify and act at areas for process improvement and automation.
  • Lead and assist in special ERP projects as necessary.
  • Responsible for managing operational data and ensuring data integrity and accuracy
  • Develops system controls to ensure data integrity.
  • Undertaking ad-hoc corporate financial tasks and processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting from a university or a leading college
  • CPA with at least 4-6 years’ worth of experience as CPA.
  • Big 4 background – Essential
  • Excellent English both writing and verbal – Must
  • Experience in a global, multi-currency company.
  • Experience with IFRS - Advantage.
  • Proficiency with Priority – Must.
  • Ability to effectively organize and execute tasks and projects.
  • Strong Excel skills, including proficiency in developing financial models and graphs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Structured, systematic, and able to manage many activities at the same time in a matrix structured organization.
  • Full-time scope - overtime as needed
