About The RoleWe are looking for a SW QA Manager in a multi-disciplinary environment who is passionate about end-to-end quality from system to functionality and leadership.In this role, you will actively manage and lead by example our fast-paced, dynamic, and agile QA team in a challenging multi-disciplinary continuous deployment environment to ensure the delivery of high-quality SW products and systems to our customers.This is an excellent opportunity to join our R&D leadership team, work closely with Development and Product teams, and impact large-scale products and the experience of users worldwide.We have high standards and we are looking for top talent. What You'll Do
- Direct hands-on management of the QA team (including teams abroad)
- Lead by example - Perform environment and system setups, hands-on testing, automation development, and tests reviews.
- Work closely with the development team in an agile methodology
- Minimize issues “escaping” to Kramer’s large and expanding customer base
- Take responsibility for the team's goals, execution, quality, and deadlines
- Mentor and coach your team on quality assurance and automation development
- Identify, report, and push for the resolution of gaps in the requirements, risks, and issues raised during development and in production.
- Take an active part in keeping the QA department up-to-date with new development, testing tools and test strategies
- B.Sc. in computer science or software engineering- Must
- At least 2 -3 years of experience managing a QA team.
- At least 3-5 years of hands-on testing experience of frontend, backend, FW , SW and HW products.
- Knowledge of QA and agile methodologies, load, performance, and security concepts
- Experience working with test automation tools and IDEs: Selenium, Testim.io, Playwright, Puppeteer, etc.
- Experience working with Linux OS
- Experience testing HW devices
- Experience working in a cloud environment, preferably AWS
- Experience & knowledge in the area of Audio / Video
- Management of global teams (e.g. India-based QA teams)
- Worked in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Working with Jira or similar tools
