As International Freight Forwarding coordinator you will ensure the efficient and cost-effective movement of goods from production suppliers to logistics hubs through various transportation modes, including air, truck, and ocean. This role requires planning, coordination, and attention to detail to manage shipments in accordance with established shipment plans while complying with international regulations and guidelines. Responsibilities:Shipment Planning and Optimization: Collaborate with Kramer planning team and production suppliers to understand shipment plans and requirements. Analyze different transportation options (air, truck, ocean) to determine the most suitable and cost-effective solutions based on factors like delivery time, budget, and cargo characteristics. Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans.Documentation and Regulatory Compliance: Prepare and compile all necessary shipping documentation. Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and import/export laws to facilitate smooth customs clearance. Coordinate with customs brokers and agents to facilitate the clearance of goods through customs checkpoints.Provider Quotation and Selection: Request and Evaluate quotes from various shipping providers, collaborate with procurement teams to negotiate favorable terms and rates with shipping providers.Communication and Coordination: Address any discrepancies or issues related to inbound shipments at the logistics hubs and communicate feedback to shipping provider or production suppliers and procurement team for resolution.Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor the progress of shipments and generate reports and provide regular updates on shipment status, delivery times, and any potential delays. Monitor KPIs to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities. Requirements:A Degree or significant experience in Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Proven experience in freight forwarding, operations, or logisticsStrong knowledge of shipping regulations, customs procedures, and international trade practices.Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple shipments and other tasks simultaneously.Experience with an ERP (Priority ERP appreciated but not mandatory).Collaborative team player with the capability to work independently.Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.Proficient communication in EnglishPowered by JazzHRysVeVWwBM7
