We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Building Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team. This role is critical to ensuring the safety, functionality, and efficiency of our building infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building systems, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and team collaboration.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Demonstrate strong technical expertise across multiple building systems.
  • Take initiative and ownership of maintenance issues from start to resolution.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Are detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and can prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Are comfortable using digital tools and maintenance management systems.
  • Have a collaborative mindset and enjoy mentoring others.
  • Are flexible and available for on-call or emergency situations when needed.

Typically, these skills are gained through possession of a Building System Technician certificate, Fireman Boiler Operator’s certificate, Refrigeration Plant Operator’s certificate, a valid driver’s licence, and 3 – 5 years of experience in building operations.
