BC Place is hiring a Manager, Contractor and Vendor Relations, Facility Operations to join the Facility Operations team.
We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced Manager, Contractor and Vendor Relations, Facility Operations to oversee daily operations, contractor/vendor management, and facility upkeep at BC Place Stadium. This individual will serve as a key liaison between internal departments and third-party service providers, ensuring high standards of safety, operations and maintenance, and guest experience.

BC Place is hiring a Manager, Contractor and Vendor Relations, Facility Operations to join the Facility Operations team.
We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced Manager, Contractor and Vendor Relations, Facility Operations to oversee daily operations, contractor/vendor management, and facility upkeep at BC Place Stadium. This individual will serve as a key liaison between internal departments and third-party service providers, ensuring high standards of safety, operations and maintenance, and guest experience.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:Contractor & Vendor Relations:
- Manage all third-party vendors and contractors, including facility maintenance, safety, security, landscaping, and food & beverage services.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for contract negotiations, compliance, and service level agreement (SLA) enforcement.
- Evaluate vendor performance and conduct regular service audits.
- Collaborate with procurement and legal teams on RFP processes and contract renewals.
- Coordinate and supervise repair and improvement projects with vendors and contractors, ensuring they meet stadium standards and timelines.
- Ensure all operations comply with local safety, fire, and environmental codes.
- Ensure various departments are aware of work in progress and coordinate contractors work with event schedule.
- Works closely with the Facility Management team in the creation and scheduling of monthly PMs for department.
- Ensure Contractors information is entered into Momentus for control room.
- Liaising between various departments attending daily and weekly Meetings.
- Creation of requisitions for parts and supplies
- Assist in tracking expenditures against forecasts.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on vendor performance, operational status, and project timelines.
- Assist with obtaining quotes for projects.
- Assist Project Team with building information.
- 5+ years of experience in facility operations or vendor/contractor management, preferably in a stadium, arena, or large-scale venue.
- Proven experience negotiating vendor contracts and managing third-party relationships.
- Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
- Familiarity with data entry tools such as Microsoft Office, database systems, and other relevant record management software is necessary
- Experience with Momentus or a work order system is an asset.
- Familiarity with union labour environments an asset.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
