Job Title: Commercial Building Manager – Long-Term Opportunity (Victoria, BC)

About the Role
Bridge Facility Services is seeking a reliable and experienced Building Operator for a 6–12 month contract based primarily at a 7-story office building in downtown Victoria. The goal is a long-term fit, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent position with the client’s management team.
Schedule & Hours
- Full-Time opportunity Monday-Frida, Schedule to be discussed, Day-shift.
- 24/7 on-call coverage is required (rotational or standby options can be discussed).
Key Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day operations and maintenance tasks.
- Monitor and maintain building systems (HVAC, mechanical, life safety, etc.).
- Conduct preventative maintenance and site inspections.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors.
- Communicate regularly with the client and management team.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in building operations (office/commercial buildings preferred).
- Strong mechanical, technical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Comfortable using Microsoft products (Outlook, Excel, Word, Etc.), technology, digital tools and building automation systems.
- Independent, organized, and dependable.
