Position: Self-Storage Facility Operator
Location: Salmon Arm, BC
Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time 20-40hrs/week
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Self-Storage Facility Operator to oversee the daily operations of our storage facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sales, managing rentals, maintaining the property, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the facility operates efficiently and profitably.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Sales:
- Assist customers with unit rentals, move-ins, and move-outs.
- Provide exceptional service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Promote and sell storage units, insurance options, and other facility services.
- Process payments, manage accounts, and follow up on delinquent accounts.
Facility Operations & Maintenance:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility, including units, office, and common areas.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure security and operational standards are met.
- Document & Coordinate maintenance and repair tasks as needed.
- Monitor security systems and enforce access policies to protect customers and property.
Administrative & Financial Management:
- Keep accurate records of rentals, payments, and customer interactions.
- Handle facility reporting, including occupancy rates, revenue tracking, and expense management.
- Implement operational procedures to maximize efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00-$32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
