Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Senior Building Operator on a permanent basis on our Facilities, Design & Development team.

This position requires on-site work and is based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan .

Reporting to the Building Operations Supervisor, the Senior Building Operator is responsible for safe, efficient, and effective operation of all building systems inclusive of all scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance activities.

What you’ll do:

  • Conduct internal and external building inspections. Conduct activities for preventive and emergency maintenance. Propose and review assignments with the Building Operations Supervisor. Perform repairs as required to the Home Office building, heating, air conditioning, and other building systems.
  • In consultation with the Building Operations Supervisor, assist with alterations to and the movement of offices and equipment to accommodate revised floor plans. Assist with office and related equipment repairs as required. Assist the Building Operations Associate with onboarding and offboarding activities as required
  • Purchase maintenance supplies and coordinate repairs as authorized.
  • Utilizing asset management software, maintain department records of preventive maintenance, inspection reports, and maintenance costs.
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers, internal clients, vendors, and contractors.
  • Other duties as required.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Supply Chain and:

  • Have minimum 3-5 years of closely related experience
  • Have a High School Education with valid Fourth Class Power Engineering License
  • Building Systems Technician and/or Refrigeration Engineer License is considered an asset. Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
