What You’ve Accomplished

  • Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, a related discipline, or comparable experience in lieu of degree
  • At least 8 years of directly related experience
  • Project Management Certifications preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of major project management plan development, implementation and administration
  • Strong business and/or technical expertise in a related technical capacity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff & management
  • Excellent working knowledge of PC-based applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)
  • Strong problem identification and resolution skills with emphasis on "root cause" analysis
  • Excellent report development and presentation skills.

  • Project Management & Execution. Ability to lead complex capital projects, office fit-ups, and facility improvements from concept through delivery—on time, on budget, and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Real Estate & Lease Administration. Strong understanding of corporate lease structures, space planning, and broker/landlord relationships to support site strategy, renewals, and build/buy decisions.
  • Facilities Operations, Maintenance, and Fleet Management Expertise. Deep knowledge of building systems, preventive maintenance programs, vendor management, and day-to-day facility operations that ensure reliability, safety, and cost control.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication. Ability to work cross-functionally with internal departments (locally and internationally), municipal authorities, service providers, and executive leaders.
  • Risk Management, Security & Emergency Preparedness. Proactive approach to physical security, emergency planning, fleet safety, and regulatory compliance to ensure business continuity and protect corporate assets.

Your Opportunity

This full-time role is about making an impact on people’s lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Facility Operations Manager in Pickering, Ontario, you will be part of the proven team in the Installed Base Business Unit. Your work will include overseeing the day-to-day operations of Framatome Canada’s facilities to ensure they operate safely, efficiently, and in alignment with global standards. You will manage vendor and landlord relationships, coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance programs, administer access control and security systems, provide leadership for warehouse operations, and support evolving work arrangements through strategic space planning. On the project side, you will lead office fit-up and construction initiatives across multiple sites, develop business cases for capital investments and manage the internal approval process, liaise with real estate brokers and municipal stakeholders, and drive the full lifecycle of facilities upgrades. You will also manage the corporate vehicle fleet and act as the primary contact for emergency preparedness planning and facility risk mitigation. This position requires up to 50% travel.
