As the Supervisor of Facilities Operations, you will oversee daily operations, vendor services, and health and safety programs that support a corporate office location. You will lead a team in delivering quality, responsive services and proactively seek opportunities and solutions to support business operations.


How you will create impact:

  • Leadership of Facilities and Building Operations including Mail Distribution Services.
  • Ensure sustainable practices and procedures are in place that align and support our Corporate Strategy.
  • Assess structure and growth impacts, coordinate moves and reconfigurations of workspaces, and liaise with project consultants and general contractors on medium to large workspace changes.
  • Business Continuity planning which includes development of safeguards, review and update regularly.
  • Oversee the administration of the records management program to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and appropriate storage protocols are followed.
  • Coach and development of Facility Operations team, includes recruitment, selection of talent and training.

To join our team:

  • You have 3-5 years of related experience in Facilities or Building Operations Management, Records Management and Mail Distribution Services.
  • Leadership experience is preferred.
  • You have post-secondary education in Business Administration, Facilities Management or a related discipline.
  • You have expert knowledge of and experience with various building systems including BAS, Security, and Life Safety Systems operations. equipment and vendor management.
  • Having the Facility Management Professional (FMP) designation, Certified Facility Manager (CFM) certificate or Certified Records Manager (CRM) certificate is an asset.

What you need to know:

  • Required to have own vehicle, valid driver’s license and insurance.
  • Frequent movement, moderate exertion and the ability to lift or move up to 20 lbs is required.
  • Potential exposure to conditions that require health and safety protection, such as chemicals, noise, dust and debris.
  • As a leader, strict confidentiality is required with respect to sensitive matters and employees’ personal information.
