Job Title: Regional Operations Manager – Facility Services

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Regional Operations Manager to oversee operations across Southwestern Ontario.

Position Summary:
The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for the overall operational performance, client satisfaction, and profitability of the assigned region. This role involves managing a team of supervisors, ensuring compliance with company standards, and driving continuous improvement in service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management:
  • Oversee daily operations across multiple locations to ensure quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies and best practices to optimize productivity and service quality.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain labour budgets to ensure profitability while meeting service expectations.
  • Plan and manage budgets, staffing plans, and forecasts in collaboration with local management.
  • Deliver on P&L targets by monitoring and controlling operational metrics.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Recruit, train, and develop a team of supervisors and cleaning staff.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to drive individual and team success.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Client Relations:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, addressing concerns and ensuring service excellence.
  • Conduct regular site visits and client meetings to assess satisfaction and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Financial Management:
  • Manage regional budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure profitability.
  • Analyze financial reports and operational metrics to identify trends and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Maintain labour budgets to balance costs and productivity.
  • Provide appropriate reporting and analysis to senior management on financial and operational performance.
  • Business Development:
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify growth opportunities and support new client onboarding.
  • Contribute to proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Develop and monitor quality assurance programs to ensure adherence to company and client standards.
  • Implement corrective action plans to address deficiencies and improve performance.
  • Reporting and Communication:
  • Prepare and deliver reports on operational performance, client feedback, and financial results to senior management.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including clients, employees, and corporate leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 5+ years of operational management experience, preferably in the janitorial or facilities management industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and motivate teams.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM and operational software.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region.
  • Willing to be on-call during predetermined periods
  • Must pass a criminal record and driving record check and be able to work in all types of buildings including Government
