Location: Edmonton South Admin (On Site)
** This position involves a rotational on-call schedule every 2 weeks and requires overtime for after-hours work and emergencies ***

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Report to the Facilities Manager.
- Perform a variety of daily building operations and maintenance tasks across AMA facilities.
- Monitor, document, and adjust HVAC systems and Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Carry out minor repairs and adjustments to mechanical, electrical, custodial, and furniture systems.
- Maintain grounds and manage snow and ice removal as needed.
- Inspect fire suppression systems, emergency lighting, and site security systems.
- Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and internal teams to resolve work tickets using ServiceNow.
- Provide on-site supervision and support during facility maintenance or upgrades.
- Assist with staff relocations, equipment moves, and general facility updates.
- Maintain safe work practices and adhere to all AMA Health and Safety standards.
WHAT YOU'VE DONE
- You have a high school diploma.
- A Class 5 Power Engineer ticket is highly desirable for this position, but not required.
- You hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license.
- You have training in Building Management System software.
- Completed certifications for WHIMIS and First Aid are an asset.
- Completion of professional driver and collision avoidance training is a bonus.
- You have experience working with HVAC systems, security systems, and general building maintenance.
- You can prioritize service demands, troubleshoot issues, and resolve them efficiently.
- You have strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse internal and external partners.
- You’re comfortable using computers and technical tools related to building systems.
