Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, responsible for performing high-quality painting tasks in both industrial and residential settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to read and interpret schematics, and experience with various hand tools. We are looking for someone who has experience working with scissor lifts and swing stages. This role requires effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and ensure project specifications are met.

Duties

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed.
• Execute industrial painting tasks, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality expectations.
• Perform residential painting projects, including interior and exterior surfaces.
• Use caulking techniques to seal gaps and ensure a smooth finish.
• Rig equipment safely for high-access painting jobs.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding project progress and any challenges encountered.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of projects.

Experience

• Experience working at heights using scissor lifts and elevated work platforms / swing stages
• Proven experience in industrial painting; residential painting experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with reading schematics and technical drawings related to painting projects.
• Proficiency in using hand tools relevant to the trade.
• Ability to rig equipment safely for elevated work areas is desirable.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and clients.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
