Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate had worked in a roofing company doing various roles from labour through to skilled roofing installation for both sloped and flat rooves. We are looking for someone hard-working, eager to learn, and eager to grow within the company to progress and take on more responsibility.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and replace various types of roofing systems, including shingles, metal, flat, and slate roofs
• Perform roof inspections and identify issues such as leaks, damaged shingles, or structural weaknesses
• Work with roofing materials such as asphalt, wood, metal, and rubber membrane systems
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
• Ensure all work meets building codes, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications
• Work in different weather conditions and at heights while following all safety protocols
• Collaborate with other team members, contractors, and site supervisors
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in roofing installation and repair
• Knowledge of various roofing materials and techniques
• Ability to work safely at heights and use fall protection equipment
• Strong physical fitness and ability to lift heavy materials
• Valid Working at Heights certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred)
• Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications is an asset

Pay: $18.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• Monday to Friday
