This is an exciting opportunity to make an immediate impact on a company leading the charge in the car sharing industry. You’ll report to the Senior Manager of Project Management and work cross-functionally with teams across Operations, Product, and Marketing to turn ideas into action.
What you will do
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, organize, and execute projects impacting Turo Operations.
Conduct and document project meetings, maintaining detailed records and action items.
Communicate project progress, updates, and risks to stakeholders and leadership.
Create and manage all project tasks in Asana, ensuring updates reflect the latest developments.
Produce regular reports and updates for Operations, Product, and Marketing teams.
Schedule and lead project kick-off and check-in meetings as needed.
Ensure all projects are properly vetted and structured using the DMAIC methodology.
Define clear roles, responsibilities, deliverables, and deadlines for all project stakeholders.
Develop and distribute concise meeting agendas and objectives to drive alignment and focus.
Create status reports that outline project progress, risk levels, and key dependencies.
Maintain strong relationships with Operations managers, ensuring coordination and alignment of initiatives while promoting standardized project management practices.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Your profile
Based in Arizona.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
3+ years of experience managing projects, preferably in a fast-paced or operational environment.
Proficiency with Asana or similar project management tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to execute efficiently in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
High standards of accuracy, organization, and follow-through.
Demonstrated ability to influence, gain consensus, and drive cross-functional alignment.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly articulate project summaries, action items, and deliverables.
Bonus if you have
Experience working in a startup or fast-scaling organization.
PMP or CPM certification.
For this role, the target base salary range in Phoenix is $70,000–$88,000 annually. This role is also eligible for equity and benefits. In general, our ranges reflect the market-based target for new hire salaries based on the level and location of the role. Within the range, individual pay is determined by objective factors assessed during the application and interview process, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. We encourage you to talk with your recruiter to learn more about the total compensation and benefits available for this role.
Turo highly values having employees working in-office to foster a collaborative work environment and company culture. This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Turists will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
