About the team:

The Senior Marketing Technology Manager will build the foundational marketing technology including - tracking, measurement, automation, bidding and customer engagement - by collating requirements from global marketing teams and prioritizing them for data and engineering teams to build. This person will help build, buy, up-level, integrate our marketing tech stack in order to elevate all of Turo’s marketing capabilities.

What you will do:

  • Define roadmap for data and martech improvements across performance marketing, CRM, Affiliates, OTA partnerships, etc; gather input from marketing teams and then triage, prioritize and define requirements for tech teams to build.
  • Be the central owner (set-up, configuration, governance) of marketing specific tools (eg: GA, Appsflyer, CRM engagement tool, Segment)
  • Troubleshoot tracking issues, work with engineering to enhance data “completeness” by updating / maintaining tracking set-up across web and app
  • Vendor onboarding, integration and management - Conduct RFPs and on-board new tools for various channels across marketing (eg: Affiliate platform such as Impact; creative automation tools; CRM engagement tool such as Braze, Iterable)
  • Work with global marketing teams to standardize and accelerate experimentation and testing.

Your profile:

  • 5+ year’s experience in either Performance marketing, CRM or Ad-tech preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the overall ad-tech ecosystem and CRM tech tools.
  • Must be able to demonstrate understanding of impact of data privacy regulations to marketing measurement and audience targeting.
  • Experience with setting up and managing MMPs (eg: Appsflyer, Kochava, Adjust, etc)
  • Understanding of web tracking tools and implementation such as GTM and GA4
  • Proven track record of building marketing capabilities in-house.
  • Previous experience with CDPs and audience segmentation tools (Segment, Braze, Iterable, Hubspot, Tealium, etc)
  • Strong understanding of tech set-up within Google ads, Meta ads, Display ads, App marketing, etc.
  • Previous experience working with product, analytics, engineering and data teams. Ability to translate marketing needs to product requirements.
  • Demonstrable understanding of attribution and incrementality measurement.

Bonus if you have:

  • Familiarity with SQL, javascript, and/or python is a plus.
  • Experience in the Travel vertical and/or marketplace business is a plus.
  • Any certification in ad-tech, tracking, performance marketing is a plus (GA, Meta, Google Ads, Appsflyer, etc.)

The London base salary target range for this full-time position is £75,000 - £90,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in this location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
