About the team

Turo is looking for a Senior Brand Designer with agency or in-house experience to join our team of creatives and help us continue to build a world-class brand. This candidate will lead design and contribute to the ideation, development and execution of best-in-class marketing strategies that elevate host efficiency and earnings, collaborating closely with marketing managers, host success, product, ops, leadership, and Turo’s host community. They will apply their skills as a communicator and visual storyteller in a fast-paced environment to make a significant impact on Turo’s performance and host success.

This role requires 5+ years of design experience, expert knowledge of the Adobe CS and Figma, and a portfolio showcasing a strong understanding of typography, tasteful photography selection, and the ability to work within brand guidelines. They should be a strategic thinker and multi-tasker who gracefully resolves competing priorities in a way that maximizes impact.

What you will do

  • Execute design projects from concept to delivery, working closely with cross-functional collaborators and managing stakeholders
  • Create holistic 360 brand campaigns that support our business strategy and other business initiatives
  • Identify ways to support and evolve the Turo brand guidelines
  • Provide design feedback and mentorship to peers

Your profile

  • 5+ years of in-house or agency design experience
  • Exceptional visual portfolio demonstrating a fondness for elegance, simplicity and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills. From napkin sketches to high-fidelity comps, you present your work to a variety of audiences, crisply and professionally
  • An expert in designing for digital — both web and mobile — and print
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and work effectively under tight deadlines
  • Desire to deeply understand our host community and leverage qualitative and quantitative data to identify and prioritize ways to add value

Bonus if you have

  • A BA, BS, or BFA in graphic design or a related field
  • Motion design experience
  • Photography knowledge and skills
  • Video editing knowledge and skills

The San Fransisco base salary target range for this full-time position is $110,000-$123,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in this location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
