Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and growth-minded Logistics Coordinator to join our Logistics team. This role goes beyond traditional order fulfillment, incorporating administrative coordination, customer interaction, and operational support across shipping and warehouse functions.

This individual will play a key role in ensuring efficient order processing, accurate inventory handling, and seamless communication with both internal teams and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a strong customer-first mentality in all interactions and decisions
  • Support administrative functions including order processing, shipment coordination, and documentation management
  • Process orders and fulfillment activities within NetSuite, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
  • Coordinate with carriers and customers to schedule trucks and pickup appointments
  • Accurately pick, pack, and fulfill orders in a timely and efficient manner
  • Assist with receiving incoming materials, verifying shipments against documentation, and resolving discrepancies
  • Develop and build efficient load layouts to maximize shipping effectiveness
  • Coordinate with carriers and customers to schedule trucks and pickup appointments
  • Operate a forklift safely to move, load, and organize materials (training/certification provided as needed)
  • Cross-train across shipping, fulfillment, and samples processes to support operational flexibility
  • Maintain accurate system records and ensure timely updates across platforms
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to operational efficiency
  • Help support onboarding and training of new team members as experience grows
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and effective workflow

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, with strong overall computer aptitude
  • ERP Systems: Ability to learn and effectively utilize NetSuite and other operational systems. Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems is an asset
  • Ability to learn load planning and logistics coordination principles
  • Forklift experience is an asset. Willingness to learn and become certified
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and adapt in a dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated initiative and interest in professional growth and leadership development

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and general physical movement required

Compensation

Starting Salary: $48,000 - $54,000/year to start.
