truLOCAL is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to help grow the truLOCAL brand on and off-site for both customers and non. The Coordinator will be responsible for making sure the value-proposition is clear and attractive, that the brand voice stays consistent throughout all communications in both English and French and that sales funnels are consistently optimized. The primary focus for this role will be driving sales through targeted email communications and digital sales opportunities. Working closely with the Marketing team, a successful Marketing Coordinator will have an immediate impact on the business by driving measurable results through highly optimized email automations, targeted sales, and clear communication to existing and potential customers.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The roles and responsibilities of the Marketing Coordinator include, but are not limited to:

Email Marketing:

Set-up, manage and continually optimize sales automations including, but not limited to:

Abandoned cart series Box upgrade series One-off box upsell communications Skipped customer retention Resurrection email series Monthly sales communications Work closely with Marketing Specialist, Retention, and Marketing Brand & Content Specialist on developing the content calendar Promotion:

Project manage monthly country-wide sales including:

Coordinating schedule across all regions Working with regional managers to identify sale items Creating all sale materials including landing page, emails, etc as needed Quebec Sales Support

Assist in sales programs in our newest market, Quebec. Includes:

Customer outreach Sales support in French speaking regions Set up tracking, identify trends and provide recommendations on all programs listed above Continually learn and demonstrate effective knowledge of marketing innovations, technology, and digital trends Work collaboratively with different cross-functional teams within truLOCAL as well as external partners Other projects as required

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Degree or diploma in Marketing or Advertising 1-2 years of marketing or sales experience 1-2 years of email marketing Professional-level French language skills required in both written and oral communication Junior design skills and ability to use programs such as Canva to create graphics that follow applicable brand guidelines An out of the box thinker that can come up with creative solutions to unique problems Strong attention to detail Must be motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
