Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Account Executive (Customer Growth) is responsible for selling Trulioo products to mid-market customers. This is a unique career opportunity to engage with high-profile customers in the Payments, e-Commerce, Finserv, Crypto and Marketplace verticals. You’re helping to ensure that everyone is able to participate in the global digital economy and that no one is left behind. You’ll be relied upon for your entrepreneurial nature, collaborative style, and ability to drive the sales funnel by aligning customer needs, product capabilities, and use case fit. Daily activities will include proactively prospecting, responding to incoming requests, and systematically pursuing new opportunities with existing customers, via phone, email, social, in partnership with your customer success manager (e.g. Customer QBRs) and at conferences.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and build relationships with customers to drive revenue and expansion of Trulioo products into the organization
- Build territory plan, account strategy & account growth plans
- Progress all opportunities through the sales cycle diligently, efficiently and professionally, while balancing conversion and longer term business opportunities
- Coordinate our customer’s evaluation of Trulioo including: leveraging Trulioo team (solution engineers, other product experts, executives), performing demos, skillfully managing all members of the buying group and using mutual project plans to drive compelling events & successful customer launch, and build value-driven business proposals
- Be a Salesforce machine, updating with information regularly to ensure data hygiene and drive forecast accuracy
- Build and manage a 3x pipeline
Key/Technical Skills:
- Experience managing complex sales cycles, building quantifiable ROI & engaging multiple stakeholders (e.g. economic buyers, technical buyers, influencers, procurement, infosec) to drive deals to close
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to successfully articulate technical product specifications and product value propositions
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills, internally and externally
- Self-motivated, detailed-oriented and a big appetite for high achievement
- Comfortable with G-Suite (including Gmail, GSheets, Slides, Docs), LinkedIn/Sales Navigator, Salesloft, Salesforce, 6Sense
Education and Experience:
- Ideally 5+ years of previous B2B experience in a software account executive/account management role within a tech environment; preferably acquiring and/or expanding customer accounts with a focus on new departments and/or regions
- Knowledge of the payments and/or identity industries is a plus.
