About us
Trexo Robotics is enabling mobility by building powered wearable robots. Our first product is a robot for children with movement disorders such as Cerebral Palsy, and it allows kids to walk, in many cases, for the first time in their lives. The device is currently being used by hundreds of families and the best hospitals across North America.

About the job
We are looking for a Robot Builder who can help us build more Trexos while participating on improving our production process so we can scale faster in the future.
This position is in-person (Monday - Friday, from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM) in our office in Mississauga (6705 Millcreek Dr, Unit 3, L5N 8M4, Mississauga)
About you
You want to work in a small team solving a big problem while helping an underserved community. You love taking things apart and building them back. You are detail oriented and a fast learner.
What you'll do
Build sub-assemblies based on work instructions.
Conduct quality control checks on both individual parts and complete devices, including inspecting mechanical and electrical parts.
Collaborate with team leads to update work instructions, test plans, and assist with Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
Participate in the installation, repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment according to prepared schedules and medical device standards.
Carry out a limited range of mechanical and electrical tests and analyses of machines, components and materials.
Actively participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance processes and product quality.
Perform rework and repair tasks as necessary.
Carry out final pack activities.
Potential opportunity to work with design moulds, tools, jigs and fixtures for use in assembly processes.
Required Skills
Previous experience working on assembly of electromechanical systems.
Hands on experience with hand machine and power tools.
Hands-on experience in building items from scratch or personal interest in assembly (e.g., software projects, simple machines, household repairs).
Ability to read engineering drawings and familiar with GD&T.
Previous experience with Solidworks or CAD software.
Previous experience with 3D printing.
Medical device production experience operating under a Quality Management System (ISO 13485).
Experience with safety standards like IEC 60601.
Experience in updating the business documentation using Airtable, or automation build with Zapier.
Strong time management skills and ability to work in a methodical manner.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Interest in exoskeletons.
Must be able to comfortably lift up to 60lbs.
Minimum B2 level in English.
