About the Opportunity:

The Product Marketing Specialist plays a pivotal role in developing effective programs to drive awareness and adoption of Transoft’s Civil & Transportation product line(s) for success within the Civil and Transportation community. The Product Marketing Specialist liaises regularly with Product Management, Regional Marketing, and Sales, to understand the voice of the customer (i.e. their expectations, needs, pain points, and overall product experience) and create compelling content and messaging that positions our products for success. They seek to know the market and target audience exceptionally well in order to develop Go-to-Market plans (i.e. product launch, and post-launch programs) for highly specialized software.

NOTE: This is a hybrid role where you will be expected to work from our beautiful office near the Waterfront Station in downtown Vancouver for a minimum of 2 days per week.

  • Develop and execute product marketing strategies, including content creation for new and existing products.
  • Use customer insights and data to inform marketing strategies and align them with product goals.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to craft go-to-market plans and ensure communication across teams.
  • Support post-launch programs and assist with budgeting for marketing activities.
  • Refine product messaging and create launch materials (website content, brochures, videos, etc.).
  • Develop programs for customer acquisition, retention, and thought leadership.
  • Provide sales enablement support and monitor the effectiveness of marketing programs.
  • Advocate for products through social media and build relationships with industry influencers.
  • Ensure internal stakeholders are informed of marketing goals and outcomes.

About You:

  • You have a Bachelor's or Diploma in Marketing, Business, Technical Writing, or equivalent; bonus points for candidates with civil engineering and transportation industry experience. An MBA is a plus.
  • You have 3+ years of product marketing experience within a B2B environment; software marketing experience is an asset. Pragmatic Marketing certification is a bonus.
  • You have 3+ years of experience working with CRM and Marketing Automation software.
  • You have experience in planning, managing, and executing events such as expos, online events, and conferences.
  • You have experience with project management, productivity, or task management solutions such as Asana.
  • You have proven experience with social media tools such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.
  • You have experience in supporting a variety of products, from launching new-to-the-world products to retiring products.
  • You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively, respectfully, and tactfully.
  • You have exceptional skills in planning, organizing, implementing, and communicating integrated marketing plans across business lines and departments.
  • You have a proven ability to manage and implement marketing plans that align with product strategies and product lifecycle.
  • You are able to work in an international and matrix environment with a cross-regional team.
  • You have an understanding of Google AdWords and Google Analytics, which is a plus.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000 annually + bonus structure (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity).
