*NOTE: This is a hybrid role where you will be expected to work a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.

About the Opportunity:

As a member of the Finance team and reporting to the Manager of Accounting, you will be responsible for performing overall accounting functions for our NL subsidiary, while providing back-up accounting support for our other subsidiaries in EMEA. Overall, this role is responsible for ensuring that all financial information is prepared, analyzed and reported on in an accurate and timely fashion.

Specific accountabilities include:

• Accounting Duties:
  • Responsible for any regulatory and/or government filings.
  • Assist with auditors’ requests
  • Perform monthly inter-company transactions.
  • Assist with annual audit preparation.
  • Ensure accounting files are organized and updated.
  • Reconcile monthly general ledger accounts.
  • Perform back up work for other entities’ AP and AR.
  • Perform monthly bank account reconciliations.
• Accounts Payables
  • Responsible for Accounts Payable tasks including posting of bills received into Business Central, and set-up of payments of bills due, including via SEPA and other online payment processes.
  • Assist with credit card expense verifications and personal expense claims.
  • Assist with expense analysis and periodic reports.
• Accounts Receivables:
  
  • Enter and apply payments to receivables.
  • Perform weekly collections on past due customers.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly AR reports.
• Other:
  • Perform payroll-related duties as assigned.

About You:

• You have a degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience.
• You may have working knowledge of Business Central, but this would be an asset and is not mandatory.
• You are fluent in both Dutch and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
• You are familiar with GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles).
• You have a high attention to detail and deliver accurate results.
• You have intermediate proficiency with MS office, particularly Excel and Word.
• You are a self-starter and a problem solver who can prioritize your tasks effectively.
• You work well both independently and as part of a team.
