largest physical security workforce management SaaS company. Our
technology provides physical security companies and corporations that
employ guards with a single platform to manage their security workforce.
We help improve response times, reduce administrative burdens, and lower
costs.
Today, Trackforce serves 3,000+ clients in over 45
countries. We have over 300 employees with offices in Montreal,
Paris, and London. However, we embrace being remote-first!
We are seeking an IT Technician and Support Specialist to join our company as a key member of our IT Service Management team. The ideal candidate should be proficient in macOS, with knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Microsoft services such as Azure AD, Office-365, and Intune. Key responsibilities include configuring and troubleshooting laptops, peripherals, applications, and network devices, managing support tickets, collaborating with vendors, and maintaining accurate IT documentation to ensure compliance with security standards. Strong communication skills, fluency in French, and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users are essential. This remote role offers flexibility with occasional office visits.

Technical skills:

  • Proficiency in MacOS, with familiarity in Windows and Linux.
  • Managing Microsoft services: Azure AD/Entra ID, 365, Exchange, Intune, Virtual Desktop, Conditional Access, and SSO.
  • Experience with Office 365 Application suite.
  • Configuring and troubleshooting laptops and peripherals.
  • Basic networking principles: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VoIP.
  • Configuring and troubleshooting network devices (routers, switches, access points).
  • PowerShell knowledge (automation/scripting is a bonus).
  • Familiarity with enterprise VoIP systems (TalkDesk is a bonus).

Communication & Interpersonal Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Excellent customer service, patience, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in French, with proficiency in English.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage, prioritize, and escalate support tickets as needed to ensure timely resolution based on urgency and impact, while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Identify and troubleshoot mail flow and spam filtering issues.
  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve issues and manage relationships/contracts.
  • Manage user accounts and groups across platforms.
  • Independently manage projects with strong self-motivation while collaborating effectively with team members to achieve shared goals.
  • Create and maintain IT documentation while producing clear end-user communications, including announcements and updates.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential problems.
  • Travel to local office as needed (Up to 90% remote)

Education and experience:

  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
  • Certifications in Microsoft Azure, 365, or SharePoint (desirable).
  • Prior experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with remote support tools and techniques.
