We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Manager, Shared Services to join our extraordinary team at Top Hat, an award-winning organization renowned for its exceptional work culture and commitment to excellence. You and your team will ensure the timely and accurate processing of accounting transactions, while constantly looking to drive greater efficiencies from the team via process redesign, implementation of new tools, systems automation, and outsourcing.
You will:
- Oversee the planning, directing, and coordinating of the following accounting operational functions; Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash management, author royalty payouts
- Coach and lead all operation team members (payables, receivables, cash)
- Establish and monitor key metrics to measure accuracy and completeness of data between various systems
- Build, implement and maintain effective internal controls for all accounting operations
- Drive automation and improvisation of the existing processes
- Assist in leading the operational integration of new acquisitions and transitioning them onto our processes & systems
- Support month-end and year-end closing process
- Work with internal and external auditors and ensure the accuracy and completeness of all audit deliverables
- Identify potential for cost optimization including outsourcing opportunities and drive those project to completion
About uou:
- Bachelor Degree in Finance, Administration, Accounting related fields or equivalent industry experience
- Strong leadership skills and can organize, motivate, and elevate the output and skills of those around you; you are generous with your time and patient with direct reports
- Experience in AR, AP and cash management
- Experience in implementing controls, process automation and outsourcing mundane activities
- Advanced Excel skills
- Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovates to achieve great results
- Ability to work collaboratively with people at all levels of the organization and make actionable recommendations
- CPA or CA Preferred
- Experience with Netsuite a plus
