We are seeking a Chief Architect to lead our technology team in the design and development of our products and services.
As the Chief Architect, you will drive the technical vision and strategy for Top Hat. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to ensure that our solutions are scalable, reliable, and user-friendly. This is a great opportunity to lead and mentor a team of senior engineers, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure that our technology roadmap aligns with the company's business objectives.
You will:
- Lead the architecture and development of our products and services
- Define and maintain the technical vision and strategy for the company
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to ensure the development of scalable and user-friendly solutions
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of architects and engineers
- Manage technical risks and issues, and identify solutions to mitigate them
- Develop and maintain a technology roadmap that aligns with the company's business objectives
- Participate in the selection and evaluation of new technologies and tools
- Communicate technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ensure the security, performance, and availability of our solutions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends, and apply them to our solutions
You are:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development and architecture, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong experience in designing and developing scalable, reliable, and user-friendly solutions
- Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS or Azure
- Experience with web development frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills
- Passion for education technology and a desire to make a positive impact in the industry
