What You'll Do
The Lead Backend Engineer will play a pivotal role in our ambitious mission to create the world's best shopping experience. Some of your responsibilities will be to:
Own our backend
Implement highly-available systems that scale to millions of users
Provide technical leadership to the backend team and others
Design and build new features.
Communicate challenges to technical and non-technical team members.
Experience working in a seriously fast-paced start-up (prefer early stage)
Know what it takes to be the best
Experience with real-time, scalable, and distributed mobile APIs
